Q:
Should I book for a group? Or can I book a place for myself only?
A:
Yes, you can. You can either join the cruises, or you can also charter a cruiser. In our cruises, prices are set not by person, but for the cruise. Please see the page of “The Trips” for more information.
Q:
Can I take my children with me? How old should they be? What about the prices for them?
A:
Kazenooto Cruises will accept children between six and twelve years of age at 75% of adult prices. Please feel free to ask about children younger than six years of age. We may be able to accept them for some types of cruise.
Q:
Does the price include transportation from the nearest station?
A:
Usually not, but “Premium Cruise” includes this service. Please contact us for more information.
Q:
Is there car parking available?
A:
Municipal car parking is available, but the company does not take responsibility for the security of cars. The most convenient access to the Tomo-no-ura boarding point is by public transport.

How can I make booking/ reservations?
A:
You can fax or email us. Please refer to the “Booking/ Contact Us” page.

What should I bring with me and wear on a cruise?
A:
Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended,sunglasses and sunscreen help a lot in summer., too.

Can I bring some food and drink on board?
A:
Yes, you can bring normal amount of refreshments with you, but not alcoholic drinks. Also, please help yourself to our non-alcoholic beverages and snacks onboard.
Q:
Is there any opportunity to buy souvenirs during a cruise?
A:
Most islands have souvenir shops, but the variety of souvenirs is not so great. We recommend you to enjoy the nature of the Inland Sea to your heart’s content and take home with tales of the cruise as your souvenirs!
Q:
Will I get seasick on the cruise?
A:
Today’s cruise ships are stabilized for comfort and we carefully choose calm routes, so few passengers get motion sickness when sailing. However, those who feel uneasy are recommended to take some medicine for seasickness about 30 minutes before boarding. We will tell you a secret for preventing seasickness, too!

Can I smoke on board?
A:
All cruises are nonsmoking. Thank you in advance for cooperation.

Does the cruiser operate in rain?
A:
Yes, basically rain will not be a reason to cancel a cruise, because it does not disrupt navigation. However, we will cancel in extremely rough weather, such as typhoons and in disasters, as well as public safety warnings.
Q:
Can a new cruise schedule be arranged if my cruise is canceled?
A:
Yes, you can re-arrange a cruise, for no extra fee, if the original schedule was cancelled by Kazenooto. However, you may be charged a rearrangement if the cancellation is due to your personal reasons. For details, please consult with us .
Q:
If I want to cancel my cruise, how many days in advance should I inform you?
A:
You can cancel on the day, but you must pay a cancellation fee. We will charge you from 20 days before the boarding date, so you are encouraged to inform us of a cancellation in advance.

Should I buy insurance?
A:
Kazenooto is enrolled in a passenger accident insurance scheme to give you peace of mind. Please feel free to contact us directly regarding insurance questions and issues.
